Beatrice J. (Higley) Elletson, 91, of Eau Claire, died on Sunday, September 22, 2013, at Care Partners Assisted Living under the care of Mayo Clinic Home Health and Hospice. Beatrice was born in Eau Claire on July 14, 1922, a daughter of William and Helen (Johnson) Higley. Beatrice married Robert E. Elletson on November 25, 1946, in Eau Claire. She was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church in Eau Claire. Beatrice is survived by her children, Sandra (Chris Saenz) Telles of Eau Claire, Anita (Bob) Harris of Ontario, CA, Ramona (Bob) Bryson of Riverside, CA, William (Pam) Elletson of Riverside, CA, Robert (Liz) of Carson, CA, Tina (J.R.) Montano of Garden Grove, CA, and Helen (John) Olinger of Eau Claire; 18 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Charles and Robert (Jean) Higley, both of Eau Claire; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Robert; and 4 sisters. Funeral Service will be held at 11a.m. on Friday, September 27, 2013, at Ascension Lutheran Church, 1500 Peterson Ave. in Eau Claire, (North Crossing is closed at HWY 53 due to construction, please use Tower Drive off of McKinley Rd) with Pastor Paul Sullivan officiating. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. at church on Friday. Burial will be at Lakeview Cemetery in Eau Claire.
