BEATRICE H. RUDE, 90, 2215 Folsum St., died Thursday, January 30, 1997 at her home. She was born December 29,1906 to Thomas and Bertha(Winrich) Mitchell in Eau Claire where she grew up and received her education. \r\nBeatrice cooked for many years at the Hotel Eau Claire and for several years at the Eau Claire County Jail. She enjoyed working in her garden and her cottage on Lake Tainter. She was a very loving mother, and she dearly loved her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. \r\nSurvivors include two sons, Arthur F.(Arlene) Rude and Marshall Rude both of Eau Claire; two brothers, Thomas J.( MaryEllen) Mitchell and Edward (Lovice) Mitchell both of Eau Claire; a sister, Viola Parr of Eau Claire; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.\r\nBeatrice was preceded in death by two sisters, Bernice Hanke and Harriet Swan; and a daughter-in-law, Mary Jane Rude.\r\nFuneral services will be 10 A.M. Monday at Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home, with Pastor Barbara A. Koch of Grace Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Gardens Cemetery in the Town of Washington.Friends may call 4-8 P.M. Sunday and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Monday.
