Beatrice L. Witte, 62, of Eau Claire, died Tuesday, November 29, 2005, at the Clairemont Nursing Home in Eau Claire.\r\nBeatrice was born January 18, 1943, in Eau Claire, the daughter of Vernard H. and Verna L. (Miller) Witte.\r\nShe attended Eau Claire Schools, graduating from Eau Claire Memorial High School in 1961. She attended one year of technical college at Chippewa Valley Technical College and then went on to work in food service at Luther Hospital for 30 years.\r\nBeatrice was a member of Epiphany Lutheran Church, where she belonged to the Ladies Auxiliary and Lutheran Women's Missionary League. Both Beatrice and her mother enjoyed traveling all over the United States on bus tours.She is survived by her mother, Verna Witte of Eau Claire; an aunt, Elsie Strader, of Augusta; and several cousins.\r\nFuneral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, December 3, 2005, at Epiphany Lutheran Church, with Pastor Russell Kampfer and Frederick C. Sauder officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Family and friends may call one hour prior to services Saturday at the church. Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home is serving the family.
