Obituary

Bernard Odell "Bud" Moe, 66, of Eau Claire died Monday, February 26, 2007, at Luther Hospital of pneumonia and complications from diabetes. He was born in Strum, WI on February 9, 1941, the son of Bernard and Cleo (Scott) Moe.\r\nBud spent his life in Eau Claire graduating from Memorial High School with the class of 1959.\r\nHe married Marylane Lueck in Eau Claire on November 5, 1960. They had two children and later divorced.Bud married Barbara Sheehy on January 4, 1989. To their marriage was born a son.\r\nHe had worked at Pope and Talbot Paper Mill, Proctor&Gamble, Gary Bennett Dodge, and Carlson Discount Sports. Bud was a salesman with Chilson Auto Dealership until his retirement.\r\nBud was a member of the George B. Wheeler Lodge # 351 F&AM and the Scottish Rite Valley of Eau Claire. \r\nHe enjoyed life and loved boating, water skiing, working in the yard, and spending time with his family. Bud was a true Packer and Badger fan. He was great with telling stories of the past and always knew the latest joke.\r\nBud is survived by his wife, Barbara; a daughter, Jamie Moe of St. Paul, MN; two sons, Keith "Skeeter" (Tina) Moe of Brownsburg, IN and Brady Moe at home; sister, Mary (Michael) Black of Eau Claire; three grandchildren, Tristen, Ryanne, and Taylor all of Indianapolis, IN; mother-in-law, Roberta Sheehy of Eau Claire; three sisters-in-law, Jeanne (Scott) Larson of Altoona, Mari (Gary) Buntmann of Littleton, CO, and Roxanne (Rusty) Gross of Pensicola, FL; two brothers-in-law, Dave (Lori) Sheehy of Burnsville, MN and Bill (Diana) Sheehy of Valley Center, CA; many nieces and nephews and buddy, Mozee.\r\nHe was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Harold; and a sister, Margaret Levasseur-Knudtson.\r\nHis family would like to thank the staff at the Luther Hospital Critical Care Unit for their excellent care and compassion.\r\nFuneral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 2, 2007, at Lenmark Gomsrud Linn Funeral Home with Pastor James Page officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery in the Town of Washington. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home and one hour prior to service Friday at the funeral home. There will be a public Masonic Service at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home\r\nIn lieu of flowers family requests memorials be directed to the American Diabetes Assoc. of WI, 2323 N.
