Bernice Pearl Domer, 88, of Eau Claire, passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2008, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire.\r\nShe was born on April 25, 1920, in the town of Washington, WI, to Robert and Hattie (Reinke) Vogler, the youngest of ten children.\r\nShe has been a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Eau Claire since her marriage there to Gordon E. Domer on December 28, 1940. \r\nAt Our Redeemer she was a member of the Ladies Aid, Young Mothers Circle, and later to Mary Martha Circle, where she enjoyed being with the ladies.\r\nBernice was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary to VFW Post #305 where she served as its President in 1976, and a second term in 1998.\r\nBernice and Gordon loved camping and fishing at Lake Chetek for many years.\r\nBernice is survived by her daughter, Carolyn (Charles) Kuhnert of Eau Claire; two sons, Charles (Patricia) Domer of Eau Claire and Neil (Theda) Domer of Aurora, CO; five grandchildren, Kristin (David) Verhaagh and Kirk (Nicole) Kuhnert both of Eau Claire, Paul (Nicole) Domer of Minneapolis, MN, Lisa (Jason) Gibson of Bloomington, MN, and Jesse (Lauri) Domer of Watertown; two step grandchildren, Kristin Hoffman and Kenny Domer; eleven great-grandchildren; and her sister, Alma Kotterlick of Cleveland, OH; and many nieces and nephews.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gordon in 1995; a daughter, Cindy Lou; three brothers, Jule, Henry, and August; and five sisters, Lillian, Molly, Ella, Rose, and Mabel. \r\nFuneral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 27, 2008, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church with Pastor Steven D. Rutter officiating. Burial will be in Lutheran Church Cemetery, Eau Claire.
