Obituary

Beth Johnson, 47, died Wednesday, November 16, 2016, at Mayo Clinic Health Systems, Eau Claire. She was born on November 23, 1968, in Lapeer, MI. Beth attended elementary school in Augusta, WI. She graduated from Eleva-Strum High School. She graduated from University of Wisconsin-Stout with a degree in Marketing Education. She was a National Sales Coordinator for WEAU-TV Eau Claire, WI. Beth was a Corporate Trainer for Capital One. She worked as an employment trainer at Chippewa River Industries. She loved working with the clients at CRI. Beth was an Airport Hospitality Manager and Board Member of the Chippewa Valley Air Show. She was a director of Volunteers (2015) and Board Member (2016), for Hope in the Valley Fundraiser to raise funds for American Cancer Society. Beth was well loved by family and friends. She is survived by her parents, Rev. Etlar "Duke" and Marilyn Johnson; brother, Kevin (Abbey); niece, Lindsey Zahara (Nathan); nephews, Michael (Nicole) and Race Whitehead; grand-nieces, Kylie, Alayna Zahara, and Charlie Johnson; grand-nephew, Ben Falkner; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Memorial Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 26, 2016, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1314 E. Lexington Blvd., Eau Claire, with Pastor Brahm Semmler Smith officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Private burial will be held at a later date.
