Betty L. Holden, 62, of Eau Claire died Sunday, June 12, 2005, at Clairemont Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on July 9, 1942, the daughter of Harold and Lorraine (Knutson) Cole. She grew up in Chicago where she graduated from Murray F. Tulley High School in 1961.\r\nBetty married Richard "Dick" P. Holden in San Diego, CA, on May 4, 1963, where he was stationed in the U.S. Navy. They returned to Eau Claire after Richard's discharge from the Navy. \r\nShe worked in the housekeeping department at Exel Inn Motel in Eau Claire.\r\nBetty is survived by her husband, Dick and son, Randy Holden of Milwaukee.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents.\r\nFuneral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2005, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home with the Rev. Bruce N. Gardner of officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 9:30 a.m. Wednesday until time of services at the funeral home.\r\n
