Betty J. Lund, 93, of Fall Creek, and formerly of Winona, died Monday, June 18, 2007, at the Fall Creek Valley Care Center.\r\nShe was born on February 19, 1914, in Youngstown, Ohio, to Joseph and Mae (Wise) Coulter.\r\nBetty married Ned O. Lund on November 30, 1933, in St. Paul, MN at Hamline Methodist Church. He passed away on March 17, 1978.\r\nDuring her time in Winona, Betty was very active in the League of Women Voters and Central Methodist Church. Until she was 84, she delivered meals on wheels in Winona. She was an avid pianist which was a great source of comfort and joy throughout her life.\r\nBetty is survived by her daughter, Karen (Dennis) Nielsen of Altoona; six grandchildren, Brian (Kathy) Lund, Jeanne Lund, Adrienne Lund, Erik (Carol) Nielsen, Kristen (Joel) Raney, Anne (Mark) Redfearn; twelve great grandchildren; her sister and best friend, Ruth Ann Guillerey of Columbus, Ohio; and by a brother, Charles Coulter.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ned; her son, Richard; and a great-granddaughter, Jacqueline Lund.\r\nFuneral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 21, 2007, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Duane Pederson officiating. Burial will be at 2:15 p.m. at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in St. Paul, MN. Family and friends may call one hour prior to the time of service at the funeral home on Thursday.
