Beverly "Bev" Rohde (nee Polhamus) died peacefully at Prairie Pointe on Monday, May 12, 2025 in Altoona, WI at the age of 92.

Bev was born on December 14, 1932, in Eau Claire, WI, to Fredrick and Marie Polhamus.  She graduated from Eau Claire Senior High School in 1950. She married William (Bill) Rohde in 1952.  She worked for Uniroyal as a keypunch operator in the tabulating dept. She also worked for E. M. Hale Publishing Company for several years. She retired from Luther Hospital as a switchboard operator in 1989. In 1960 they moved to Altoona where they raised their family. Bill and Bev had four children. Her children remember her as a kind, fun loving, nurturing mother.

Bev enjoyed spending time with her family playing Smear and Yahtzee.  She was an avid Barbie doll collector and loved music and flowers. She was also a big Packer fan and hosted many Packer parties at her home. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Eau Claire. After retiring, Bill and Bev moved to the Town of Barnes, WI, where she was Secretary of the VFW #8329 Auxiliary. She was also a member of the Homemakers Club and Red Hat Society.atHH

Bev is survived by her children, Bill (Ann) Rohde, Marge (Ken Beyersdorf) Kelley, Laura (Brian) Johnson, and John (Kirsten Heck) Rohde, and her 10 grandchildren, Will (Ashley) Rohde, Joe Rohde, James (Alicia) Kelley, Rachel (Brad) Dohr, Sara (Deanna) Kelley, Carolyn (Terry) Misch, Amie (Kyle Pendergast) Johnson, Ben (Allison Kohls) Johnson, Shannon (Kathryn Quesnell) Rohde and Shay (Kyle) Button,14 greatgrandchildren,  Josh, Trent & Sophia Kelley, Aiden, Avayah & Emma Dohr, Maeve Kelley, Lydia, Sylvia, Hunter & Ella Misch, Charlie, Elaina, & Jack Button, and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Bill, brother Don & sister-in-law Dorothy Polhamus, sister Pat Anderson, brother-in-law Ray & sister-in-law Doris Rohde, son-in law Bill Kelley, daughter-in-law Tina Rohde, niece Maryann Christopherson & nephew Joel Anderson.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, May 31st 10am to 11am with a service to follow at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral & Cremation Services – WEST CHAPEL, 1405 N. Clairemont Ave. Eau Claire, WI. with Pastor Christine Emerson officiating. Inurnment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Eau Claire.
