Bonnie (Bartosh) Priest, 53, of Eau Claire, died peacefully on Tuesday, January 5, 2016, at Sacred Heart Hospital surrounded by her family. Bonnie was born on April 22, 1962, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, to Carl and Carol (Severson) Bartosh. She graduated from Memorial High school in 1980, and subsequently earned a degree in Business Administration from UWEC. She married Gregory Priest in 1980 at Grace Lutheran Church in Eau Claire. Bonnie loved pets, including her recent two dogs, was a talented french horn player, an avid Green Bay Packer fan, and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Bonnie worked for the last 5 years as a customer service representative at eBay Enterprises, but her most important and joyful role was caring for her family. Bonnie is survived by her three children, Laura (Matt) Johnson of Eau Claire, Christine Priest of St. Charles, MN and David Priest of Eau Claire; three grandchildren, Orion, Dominic, and Mckaylee; former husband, Gregory Priest of Woodbury, MN; her mother, Carol Bartosh of Eau Clare; four siblings, Cynthia Simonson of Houston, TX, Richard (Noreen) Bartosh of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Debbie (Hector) Rodriguez of Green Bay, WI and Susan (Brian) Olson of Plymouth, MN. Bonnie was preceded in death by her father, Carl Bartosh. Funeral services are to take place at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, January 12, 2016, at Grace Lutheran Church, 202 W. Grand Ave. in Eau Claire with Pastor Dean Simpson officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, January 11, 2016, at Lenmark Gomsrud Linn Funeral Home, 814 First Ave. in Eau Claire, and again one hour prior to the funeral on Tuesday at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be given in Bonnie's name to the American Cancer Society.
