Bradley William Bethke, age 51 of Eau Claire, died at Mayo Clinic Health System, Eau Claire, on Saturday, April 4, 2015. He was born in Mondovi, WI, on March 28, 1964, to Gerald and Audrey (Weiss) Bethke. Brad graduated from North High School in Eau Claire with the class of 1982. He worked at ITW and Menards, where he met Sherry Jasper and they had a beautiful daughter, Crystal Bethke. Together they cherished watching Crystal excel in high school sports and see her blossom into a beautiful, young lady. In his eyes, Crystal was his greatest accomplishment and would brag like a proud father. She was the apple of his eye and sat tall knowing that "was his baby girl". Brad was an avid outdoorsman with a love of fishing and hunting. He would always come back with his pack full and bragging rights to anyone who would listen to the tale. With that silly grin and dry laugh, you never knew how much was fact or fiction, but his closest friends always wanted him on the next trip to the river or in the woods. Brad is survived by his daughter, Crystal; mother, Audrey Fesenmaier; sister, Sheri (Bethke) Kreutzer; niece, Lauren Kreutzer and brother-in-Law, Ron Kreutzer. He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald; grandmothers, Molly (Weiss) Anibas and Irene (Weir) Bethke; and grandfathers, Henry Bethke and Ernest Weiss. When we think of Brad's passing, we will remember that life is unpredictable, but can be measured by the laughs, warm memories and close friends that we have had in the journey. We would like all those who have had this same journey, with Brad, to celebrate this life on Saturday, April 11, 2015, at 12:00 Noon at the West Chapel of Lenmark Gomsrud Linn Funeral Home, 1405 N. Clairemont Avenue, Eau Claire WI, 54703, with a visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Scott Miller will be officiating. Interment will be in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Seymour, WI. Following the interment, a time of remembrance and fellowship will be at Fox Run Tavern, 1515 S 65th Ave, Eau Claire, WI 54703. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family.
