Bruce D. Honadel, age 78, of Eau Claire, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2018, at HSHS Sacred Heart Hospital. Bruce was born on December 2, 1939, in Eau Claire. He graduated high school in Augusta, WI. Bruce was married to Susan Voigt from 1960-1978. He then married Sandra (Knight) Hedlund in 1989. She survives. Bruce worked at a service station, creamery, farm, and as a surveyor prior to his career at Uniroyal. He served as a union representative at Uniroyal, was heavily involved in the Democratic Party, a member of Westgate Sportsmen's Club, and served various functions of his church. He loved to hunt, fish and camp. He loved his family and was well loved by them. Bruce is survived by his wife, Sandy of Eau Claire; children, Lorie (Tim) Johnson and Craig (Lisa) Honadel; step-children, Darcy (Lisa) Hedlund, Jaimee Hedlund, Tracy (Carol) Hedlund, Judy Hedlund, David (Kellie) Hedlund; 18 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. on Friday, February 2, 2018, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, 814 1st Ave, Eau Claire.
