BRUCE R. GUNDERSON SR, 67, of 19445 79th Ave., Chippewa Falls, died Friday, August 4, 2000 at Sacred Heart Hospital. He was born February 10, 1933 to Clarence and Alberta (Steahr) Gunderson in Eau Claire. Bruce married Bernice Brandt in Eau Claire on October 6, 1951. He was employed 33 years in the shipping department at Uniroyal Tire Company until his retirement in 1985.\r\nSurvivors include his wife, Bernice; four sons, Bruce Jr. (Debbie), Mark and Steve all of Eau Claire, Greg of Springfield, MO; four grandchildren, Nicki, Matt, Jacob, and Kayla; a great grandson, Alex; a brother, Jack (Darlene) Gunderson of Eau Claire; four sisters, Mary Lou (Jerry) VerHagen of La Crosse, Kay (Al) LaMovic of Sudden Valley, WA, Joan (Tom) Lee and Sharon (Bruce) Bluedorn both of Chippewa Falls; many nieces and nephews.\r\nBruce was preceded in death by his parents.\r\nFuneral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. John's Lutheran Church with Pastor Ned S. Lenhart officiating. Burial will be in Prairie View Cemetery in the Town of Hallie.
