Obituary

Carmelo "Carl" Reali, 86, of Eau Claire died Friday, October 17, 2003 at Luther Hospital. He was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on April 4, 1917, the son of Joseph and Maria (Letizia) Reali. Carl married Lesla L. Ketcham on September 12, 1938 in Waukon, Iowa. He worked as a steamfitter for 32 years at Uniroyal Tire Co. until his retirement in 1979.\r\nHe was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Elks B P O Lodge # 402, and Moose Lodge # 1408.\r\nCarl enjoyed being outdoors with nature, hunting and fishing. He was an excellent woodworker building many items including furniture, birdhouses and feeders for family and friends. \r\nHe is survived by his wife, Lesla; daughter, La Rayne (David) Semple of Rice Lake; son, Larry of Detroit Lakes, MN; four grandchildren, D.J. Reali of Chicago, Chris Reali of Mpls., Cara Reali of Stillwater, MN, and Vicki (Greg) Twerberg of Rochester, MN; four great grandchildren, Sydney and Carson Kuball, and Nathan and Nick Twerberg; three brothers, Dominic (Evelyn) of Eau Claire, Tony (Jean) of Altoona and Samuel of Phoenix, AZ; nieces and nephews.\r\nHe was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Joseph Jr.; and his sister, Angie Glenz.\r\nFuneral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 22, 2003 at First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Eric G. Nielsen officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Pepin Township near Pepin, WI. Family and friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home and an hour prior to services Wednesday at the church.\r\nFamily requests memorials please be directed to First Presbyterian Church, 2112 Rudolph Rd., Eau Claire, WI 54701
