Carol (Prince) Geissler, 66, of Chippewa Falls, died Saturday, November 18, 2006, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire. She was born in Cooks Valley Township, Chippewa County, the daughter of Leon and Regina (Meinen) Prince.\r\nCarol married Dennis D. Geissler on June 13, 1964, at St. John's the Baptist Church in Cooks Valley, WI.\r\nShe worked over 40 years with insurance companies retiring from RJF Agencies in Eau Claire in 2003.\r\nCarol enjoyed her children, grandchildren, and friends.\r\nSurvivors include her husband, Dennis; four children, Denise (Randy) Rubenzer of Tony, WI, and their children, Derek and Ross; Kelly (Darrell) Davis of Seattle, WA, and their children, Simone and Noel; Robin (Lonnie) Kopel of Olivia, MN, and their children, Haley and Lauren; Mitchell (Elizabeth) Geissler of Manitowoc, WI, and their children, Zachary and Clara; her sister, Kathleen (Marvin) Lynn of Chippewa Falls, WI, and their children, Dale and Brian Lynn and Renee Blodgett; and two special cousins, Elaine (Doug) Bowe of Cadott, WI, and Peter (Peggy) Prince of Bloomer, WI.\r\nCarol was preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Regina Prince; and her brother, Frederick Prince.\r\nA Memorial Mass will be held at 3 p.m., Tuesday, November 21, 2006, at the Church of Notre Dame in Chippewa Falls with Father Brian J. Jazdzewski officiating. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday at the church prior to Memorial Mass. Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral&Cremation Services of Eau Claire is serving her family.\r\nIn lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.\r\n
