Carolee A. Rzepiejewski, 58, of Eau Claire passed peacefully at her home with her husband and son at her side on Monday, December 03, 2007.\r\nShe was born in Mondovi, WI on November 12, 1949, the daughter of Rodger and Mary (Werlein) Bonesteel.\r\nCarolee loved spending time as a child in Newald, WI, with her family and nature. That love of family and nature was evident throughout her life.\r\nShe graduated from Mondovi High School in 1967. She spent a few years post high school working and traveling until she met and married her husband Thomas Rzepiejewski on August 22, 1970, in Mondovi.\r\nCarolee and Tom lived in rural Mondovi until 1992, when they moved to Eau Claire, where they still remain. Together they shared 37 wonderful years of marriage.\r\nHer love of writing led her to return to school at UW-Eau Claire majoring in journalism and advertising. Her passion led to her current career as a creative writer. Carolee worked seven years at WEAU-TV13, Eau Claire, where she was a regionally and nationally recognized writer. She moved on to a seven year award winning career with Central Radio Group/Maverick Media retiring in 2005. She continued to work and write and "live my last days well." Carolee was a dedicated wife and mother; a doting grandmother; a selfless and compassionate woman; and an imaginative storyteller.\r\nCarolee is survived by her husband, Tom; two children, Tanya (Rob Little) Rzepiejewski of Lancaster, WI, and Clay (Kristi) Rzepiejewski of Rock Falls, WI; three grandsons, Ryan, Adam, and Will; her father, Rodger (Gladys) Bonesteel of Mondovi; five brothers, Bob (Polly) Bonesteel, Rod (Laurie) Bonesteel, Dave (Barb) Werlein, Dan (Julie) Werlein, Mark (Shari) Werlein; four sisters, Bonnie (Ken) Komro, Cheryl (Ray) Risler, Marie Meader, Cindy Black.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her mother, Mary; two brothers, Michael and Bobby; a sister, Barb.\r\nFuneral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, December 7, 2007, at Florian Gardens, 2340 Lorch Ave., Eau Claire with Rev. Diane House officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, 814 First Ave., Eau Claire, and one hour prior to services Friday at Florian Gardens. Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral&Cremation Services is serving the family.\r\n
