Charles V. Benson, 64, of Chippewa Falls died Tuesday, June 12, 2007, at St. Joseph's Hospital. He was born to Vernon and Loretta (Rooney) Benson in Eau Claire, WI on February 20, 1943.\r\nCharles was a resident of the Northern Center and then was blessed to live with Ann and Ron Johnson for the last several years.\r\nCharlie is survived by his sisters, Lori (John) Baltes and Mary (Jim) Theisen both of Eau Claire, and Ann and Ron Johnson of Chippewa Falls, and their family and friends, his caretakers and all who cared for him at the Northern Center.\r\nHe was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Tom.\r\nMemorial graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, June 18, 2007, at Calvary Cemetery in Eau Claire with the Rev. Mr. Larry J. Agema officiating.
