Charles "Charlie" W. Huck, Jr., age 61, of Elk Mound, passed away on Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at Mayo Clinic Health Systems – Eau Claire. Charlie was born on November 22, 1956, in Kenosha to the late Charles Sr. and Marjorie (Beth) Huck. On August 9th, 1975 he married Jackie Neis. Together they had four children and owned Water's Edge Tavern in Gilmanton for 32 years. Charlie was a great friend to many in the community and befriended everyone he met. He later married Sue Stanton on September 29, 2012, in Eau Claire. He was a hard worker who dedicated 15 years to the Mayo Clinic Health Systems and 6 years at Blain's Farm & Fleet until he passed. Charlie loved NASCAR and was an avid Wisconsin sports fan that bled green and gold. He enjoyed taking rides on his motorcycle and in his Mustang Cobra. He really enjoyed trips to Lake Superior and taking walks through Irvine Park with his wife Sue and dogs Lucky and Butthead. Charlie was an animal lover, not only to his dogs but his cat Jazz. Charlie also enjoyed spending time gardening, cooking, collecting many things including coins and of course anything Packers. He especially loved his grandchildren and spending time with his family. He was a spontaneous man who loved life and will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Sue; children, Charles Huck III, Tatum (Danny Dregney) Johnson, Tamara (Dan) Iverson, Richard (Amy) Huck; step children, Samantha (Amon) Miller, James (Sammy) Stanton, Tina (Scott) Frank; 22 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Terri Beachem; brothers, Jeff Beloate and William Peuse; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Joseph and Richard Neis. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, 814 1 st Ave, Eau Claire, with Pastor Mary Eide officiating.
