Obituary

Charles Sherman Peck, 58, known affectionately to friends and family as "Chuck," passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2018, peacefully in his sleep at his home in Eau Claire, WI. He was born on August 12, 1960, in Millersville, MD, to Lincoln and Dorothy Peck and graduated from Old Mill High School, Millersville, MD. He lived in various locales in Maryland until moving to Wisconsin in 2013. Whether a chemical coatings paint mixer, auto mechanic, carpenter, machine operator, customer service clerk, sales consultant, or manager, Chuck was always a hard worker, regardless of the job he filled. He loved fast cars (especially his Corvette and Mustang), fishing, being around people, and above all else, his children and grandchildren. He was so thrilled to visit and reconnect with them last year. He is survived by his children, Jennifer (Scott) Donaldson of Jessup MD, Lydia Peck and Isabella Peck of Denton, MD; grandchildren, Scott, Peyton, and Genevieve Donaldson of Jessup, MD, Michael Peck of Chestertown, MD, Frederick (Joanne Schilling) Peck of Birchwood, WI, and Kelly Peck of Huntington Beach, CA; and a multitude of nephews and nieces. He is preceded in death by his parents. Memorial Services will be held at 4 pm on Monday, November 26, 2018, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, 814 First Avenue, in Eau Claire, WI, with Pastor Paul Smith of West Ridge Church officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the family to be distributed at a later date to Hope Gospel Mission and West Ridge Church, of Eau Claire. .
