Christie Sue Krantz, 43, of Elk Mound, passed away unexpectedly due to natural causes on Thursday, March 31, 2011, at her home. \r\nChristie was born on April 28, 1967, a daughter to Calvin and Bette (Jennings) Krantz in Eau Claire, WI. \r\nShe enjoyed listening to country music, especially Keith Urban. She collected Keith Urban memorabilia. She traveled to Keith Urban concerts and attended multiple Country Fest events. Christie was also an avid Barbie doll collector and had an extensive collection.\r\nChristie is survived by her parents; her twin brother, Cal Krantz of Pewaukee; her sister, Julie Krantz-Messersmith, of Aptos, CA; her brothers, Joe (Diane) Dale of Alma, David (Kathy) Dale of Tonopah, NV, and Roger (Priscilla) Dale of Sanger, TX; three nephews, Matthew, Michael, and Brendan; three nieces, Jenny, Jill, and Casey; three great-nephews, Braedon, Joshua, and Noah; aunts, Carol Kellerman of Cumberland, Elaine Krantz, who was also her Godmother, of Shell Lake, Mary Krantz of Shell Lake, Clarice Hopkins of Davis, CA, Peggy (Bud) Thompson of Richland Center; uncles, Joe Martin of Drain, OR, Jerry Jennings of Eau Claire, and John (Betty) Jennings of Chippewa Falls; and numerous cousins. \r\nShe was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents and many uncles and aunts. \r\nFuneral Services for Christie will be held on Monday, April 4, 2011, at 12:30 p.m. at Shepherd of the Hill Lutheran Church, 207 University St., in Elk Mound with Pastor Michael Wollman officiating. There will be a visitation from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm prior to services at the church. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery rural Elk Mound. \r\nMemorials may be directed to Shepherd of the Hill Lutheran Church.\r\n
