Claire A. Teigen, 80, of Eau Claire, died on Monday, August 1, 2011 at Mayo Clinic Health Systems-Eau Claire.\r\nClaire was born on May 7, 1931 in Eleva, WI, to Alvin and Bernice (Swanson) Teigen. He graduated from Eau Claire High School. Shortly after, he married Marilyn Schrader on September 29, 1951.\r\nHe is survived by his wife of 60 years, Marilyn; children, Cheri (Jeff) Fleischman, of NV, Mark , of AK, Cindy (Don) Felske, of NV, Craig, of AK, Michael, of Eau Claire, Michelle Tate, of TN; grandchildren, Melissa, Matt, Rebecca, and Brianna; and great-grandsons, Sebastian and Treydon.\r\nHe was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, John.\r\nFuneral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 6, 2011 at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, 814 First Ave., Eau Claire with visitation starting at 10 a.m. Pastor Rolf Nestingen will officiate. Burial will be at East Bennett Valley Cemetery in the Town of Chimney Rock.
