CLARA HANSON, 97, of Eau Claire, died Thursday, November 4, 1999 at Oakwood Villa Nursing Home in Altoona. She was on born July 25, 1902 to Gilbert and Mattie (Gunnison) Gilbertson in Eau Claire and grew up on their family farm in the Town of Union. Clara married Henry M. Hanson on May 5, 1925 in Eau Claire.\r\nSurvivors include a son, Robert (Jean) of New Minor; three grandchildren, Gladys (Douglas) Barber and Mary Melsness both of Eau Claire and Holly Hanson of Sturtavant; nine great-grandchildren, Jason Melsness, Tony Bilderback, Robert Hanson, JR, Angie Bilderback, Sarah Barber, Mike, Bilberback, Joey Bilderback, Aaron Barber and Tyler Bosch; a great-great-granddaughter, Kendra Melsness; and a Niece Katheryne (Tom) Franson of Eau Claire.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her husband, Henry in 1962; son, Vernon; twodaughters, Evelyn (Morris) Miller and Madaline (Mickey) Flynn; granddaughter, Patricia Bilderback; two brothers, Gustave and Gilbert Gilbertson; and three sisters, Minnie Blasius, Anna Arnstad and Cora Kriesel. \r\nFuneral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home with Pastor Gary F. Sahs officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery. Friends may call an hour prior to services Wednesday at the funeral home.\r\n
