He fought in the Golden Gloves in Milwaukee, and professionally for a year. \r\nJimmy loved all sports, and was a star pitcher for many Eau Claire championship Kittenball teams in the 40's. He was a charter member of Westgate Sportsman Club, very instrumental in its formative years, and served on many board positions. Living on Lake Altoona Jimmy was an avid fisherman, catching several 10 lb. Walleyes there, and many fine German Brown Trout in Elk Creek.\r\nSurvivors include his two daughters, Virginia (Cecil) Wold and Diane Lund both of Eau Claire; three grandchildren, Sherry, Jim and Steve (Kim) Wold all of Eau Claire; five great grandchildren, Stephan (Jessica) Wold of Benicia, CA, Heather (Travis) Garside, Olie, Tanya, and Jolene Wold all of Eau Claire; four great-great grandchildren; brother, Romaine Lund of Eau Claire; two sisters-in-law, Shirley Seever of Columbia Heights, MN and Marcella Bonus of Eau Claire; nieces and nephews; and his grand dog, Blitzen.\r\nJimmy was preceded in death by his wife, Jane in 2005; his parents; and a brother, Gerald L. Lund.\r\nHe loved his cats and dogs and had many through out the years.
