Clarence "Casey" N. Severson, age 85 of Eau Claire, died on Monday, January 2, 2012, at Dove Healthcare West, Eau Claire. Clarence was born in Eau Claire on September 25, 1926, to Norman and Clara (Erickson) Severson. Clarence served in the U.S. Army from December 1944 until his honorable discharge in 1946. He married Elmyra "Myra" Seibel on November 24, 1951. Clarence worked for White Glass Company and was a member of First Lutheran Church in Eau Claire. Clarence is survived by his wife, Myra; son, Gary (Winnie) Severson of Blue Bell, PA; daughters, Suzanne (Larry) Smith of Eau Claire and Ann (Andrew) Little of Lansdale, PA; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Louis (Lorraine) Severson and Charles (Phyllis) Severson; and sisters, Norma Severson, Jeanette Tiffany, and Anne (Rod) McRae. Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 6, 2012, at First Lutheran Church, 1005 Oxford Avenue, Eau Claire with Pastor Scott Miller officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday, January 5, 2012, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Lenmark Gomsrud Linn Funeral Home WEST CHAPEL, 1405 N. Clairemont Avenue, Eau Claire. Visitation will also be one hour prior to the service at church. Interment will be at Lakeview Cemetery in Eau Claire, with Military Honors conducted by American Legion Post #53 of Eau Claire.
