Obituary

Clarice Elaine Arnsdorf, passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2026.

She was born on November 4, 1936, to LaVerne and Diana Larson. Clarice was baptized and confirmed at Pleasant Valley Lutheran Church in the Township of Drammen, Wisconsin, where she sang in her Bible Class Chorus and also in the Church Choir. She also taught Sunday school classes at Pleasant Valley Lutheran Church.

Clarice graduated from Mondovi High School in 1954, after which she was employed for five years at the Wisconsin Telephone Company as a Telephone Operator, and later at Western Electric Company as a secretary.  She later worked as a limited term employee in several areas on the University of Wisconsin Campus, at Eau Claire, before becoming a medical transcriptionist in the UWEC North Services Department, from which she retired.

Clarice was married to William Henry Arnsdorf on April 11, 1959 at Pleasant Valley Lutheran Church. They were married for 64 years prior to William’s passing away on October 17, 2023.  She joined Grace Lutheran Church after her marriage to William, where she taught Vacation Bible and Sunday Schools for several years. Her faith was always a major and very important part of her life.  Clarice was currently a member of Saving Grace Lutheran Church in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.

Both Clarice and William, greatly enjoyed working in their flower gardens. They also enjoyed watching and tending the wildlife that frequented their back yard. Clarice loved all type of animals, and was especially fond of dogs.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Lois Deetz and brother Merle Larson.

Clarice is survived by her two sons: Curt and Kyle; and by her grandson Adam.

Funeral Services were held at Lakeview Cemetery on Friday, May 22, 2026.
