Obituary

Clayton L. Pippenger, 41, of Eau Claire died Tuesday, May 27, 2003 in Eau Claire. He was born in Menomonie on March 28, 1962 to Clayton and Shirley (Beaman) Pippenger.\r\nHe graduated from Chippewa Valley Technical College and had worked as a Welder at Phoenix Steel.\r\nClayton enjoyed telling jokes, playing cards and watching movies.\r\nHe married Donna M. Kessler on August 8, 1986 in Eau Claire.\r\nSurvivors include his two daughters, Heidi Lynn and Kayla Marie Pippenger and their mother, Donna of Altoona; his mother, Shirley of Eau Claire; his grandmother, Erma Howard of Menomonie; three sisters, Debra Pippenger and Edah Melgaard, both of Eau Claire and Susan Walker of New Caney, TX; three aunts, Betty Malhus, Roselyn Klatt and Edna Demars; one uncle, Walter (Ellen) Beaman; and six nieces and nephews, Ashley Melgaard, Michelle, Jacquelyn and Julie Pippenger, Angela (Wally) Ettie, Randy Vestal and Edward (Krissy) Pierce.\r\nHe was preceded in death by his father; and grandparents, William and Annie Pippenger and Orval Beaman.\r\nClayton's smile will be deeply missed by his family and friends and daughters.\r\nFuneral services will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 31, 2003 at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home with Father Edmund Klimek officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery. Family and friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to services Saturday, both at the funeral home.
