Obituary

CLIFFORD A. "KIP" ANDERSON, 87, of the Congress St. Apt.'s and formerly of 222 Platt St., died Saturday, April 7, 2001 at The Clairemont. He was born September 8, 1913 to Arthur J. and Emma (Larson) Anderson in Eau Claire. He married Clarice M. Eick on August 24, 1941 at First Lutheran Church in Eau Claire. \r\nClifford worked in the accounts payable department at Uniroyal Tire Company for thirty-five years, retiring in 1974. He was a member of First Lutheran Church.\r\nHe loved golfing and was a former world championship log roller. Clifford enjoyed Big Band music and dancing.\r\nSurvivors include two brothers, Robert T. Anderson of Stevens Point, and Lawrence W. Anderson of Eau Claire; two sisters, Dorothy M. Drake of Eau Claire, and Elaine Johnson of Wisconsin Rapids; many nieces and nephews.\r\nHe was preceded in death by his wife Clarice "Ike", in 1993; two brothers LaVerne and Doug; two sisters, Mary LaValley and infant Dorothy Anderson; nieces and nephews.\r\nGraveside memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 12, 2001 at Lakeview Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. Duane C. Pederson officiating. Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home is serving the family.\r\nThe family suggest memorials be directed to the First Lutheran Church Radio Fund.
