CLIFFORD O. KRAGNESS, 90, formerly of 1610 Highland Ave.,Eau Claire died Saturday, December 5, 1998 at Syverson Lutheran Home. He was born January 21, 1908 in Colfax to Anton and Gurina (Gotliebson) Kragness. Clifford and his wife, Lucille (Duffenbach) were married 62 years. He worked 33 years at Uniroyal where he was a machinist until retiring in 1969. He was a member of First Lutheran Church for over 60 years where he served as a Deacon for several years. His family has many memories, of their time spent together, fishing with Clifford at his cottage.\r\nSurvivors include two sons, Roger (Betty) of Bethlehem,PA, and David (Linda) of Fall Creek; two daughters, Janet (Leroy) Petterson of Havre,MT, and Marian (Manley) Johnston of Dellwood,MN; ten grandchildren, Richard, Eric, Peter, Andrew, and Sarah Kragness, Tanya, Lisa and Krag Petterson, Christine and Cindy Johnston; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Lloyd (Avis) of Colfax; a sister, Sylvia Phillips of British Columbia; three sisters-in-law, Ethel Duffenbach of Eau Claire, Evelyn Larson of Mission Viejo,CA, and Doris Proctor of Chippewa Falls; and many nieces and nephews.\r\nHe was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille on December 13, 1997; a brother, Andrew; and six sisters, Alba Libeck, Dagne Boehm, Gilma Kinander, Harriet Redman, Tobey Haugen, and Alice Deuel\r\nFuneral Services were 11 a.m. Thursday,Dec 10th, in the chapel at First Lutheran Church,Eau Claire with Pastor Robert E.
