Connie M. Holum, 41, of Rice Lake, died Sunday, November 2, 2003 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. She was born on December 14, 1961 in Eau Claire, a daughter of Arthur and Ione (Grassnickle) Shong. \r\nConnie was baptized and confirmed at St. James-Trinity Church in Fall Creek and graduated from Fall Creek High with the class of 1980. She then attended vocational school in Tomah and received a Certified Nursing Assistant degree. She had worked in home healthcare for Indianhead Health Center in Rice Lake. Connie was a member of the Red Cedar Community Church in Rice Lake.\r\nSurvivors include her children, Rodney Jr.(Laura),and Timothy both of Rice Lake, Anthony "AJ", and Erica both of Eau Claire; her parents Arthur and Ione Shong of Fall Creek; two sisters, Donna (Paul) Theisen of Bloomington, MN and Kimann Shong of Eau Claire; and her grandmother, Mildred Knuth of Eau Claire. \r\nFuneral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, November 6, 2003 at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home with Pastor Douglas Brandt officiating. Burial will be in Trinity Cemetery, Fall Creek. Relatives and friends may call one hour prior to services Thursday at the Funeral Home. \r\n
