Constance "Connie" Boehm, 84, of Eau Claire, passed away on Friday, August 24, 2018, at Clearwater Nursing Home in Eau Claire. Connie was born on March 20, 1934, to Alvin and Nora (Engum) Veum in Whitehall, WI. She graduated from Eau Claire Senior High School in 1952. She married Francis "Bid" Boehm on August 18, 1956, and together they raised three children. Connie worked as an assistant cook at St. James Elementary School for 20 years. She enjoyed golfing, shopping, knitting, bingo, reading, playing cards, and spending time with her husband, family and friends. Connie is survived by her husband, Bid; sons, John (Cindy) Boehm of Marshfield, WI, and Paul (Debbie) Boehm of Bloomington, IL; daughter, Kathy (Dan) Sires of Eau Claire; grandchildren, Catie Hagedorn, Amy (Clement) Siess, Zack Boehm and Hannah Boehm; sister, Joyce Smith; brother-in-law, Ralph Boehm; many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Bev Johnson; and granddaughter-in-law, Rachel Hagedorn. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 28, 2018, at St. James the Greater Catholic Church, 2502 11th St. in Eau Claire, with Father Tom Krieg officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the Mass Tuesday at the church. Inurnment will be held in Lakeview Cemetery in Eau Claire. ​
