Connie Matson, born March 25, 1943, passed away peacefully December 24, 2022. She had pancreatic cancer. She was a graduate of Eau Claire Memorial High School (1961) and UWEC (B.A. 1965). She married Robert Matson in August of 1965 and eventually became the city and county librarian for Rusk County. She retired from that position in 1996. Robert was the Biology teacher at Ladysmith High School until he retired in 2000. The family plans for a celebration of Life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to the Eau Claire Public Library or the Eau Claire Humane Society.
