CORA P. HAAG, 100, of 816 Porter Ave., died Monday, January 11, 1999 at the Syverson Lutheran Home. She was born February 23, 1898 to George and Mary (Bushendorf) Haag in Spring Brook Township, Dunn County. Cora moved with her family to Eau Claire in 1939. Cora worked for a short time at National Presto Industries and then was a cleaning lady at the State Theater and for a number of Eau Claire families until her retirement in 1984.\r\nShe was a member of Lake Street United Methodist Church.\r\nSurvivors include a niece, Sharon (Frank) Bonesho of Ellsworth; two nephews, Bert (Roberta) Ross of Landsdale, Penn. and Dennis (Jewel) Ross of Austin, Texas; several great and great-great nieces and nephews; and a close friend Myrtle Phillips of Eau Claire. \r\nCora was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Sylvester, three sisters, Verona Holtz, Irene Sheils, and Rachel Masse.\r\nServices will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home, with Rev. Richard Maser officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to services Friday at the Funeral Home.\r\nThe family requests memorials may be directed to Lake Street United Methodist Church.\r\n
