Dagny C. Okeson, 56, of 1528 Hoover Avenue died Wednesday, April 10, 1996, at her home. She was born October 25, 1939, in Eau Claire to Anton and Elsie (Donner) Okeson. Dagny was a graduate of Memorial High School and received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Technology from UWEC in 1962. She worked in the Medical Technology Department at Luther Hospital for over twenty years. She was employed at Thompson's True Value V&S Variety working in the crafts and tropical fish departments. Dagny enjoyed her hobbies of reading, raising tropical fish and various crafts including counted cross stitch.\r\nSurvivors include a sister, Ardell (Jarl) Christianson of Lodi, an aunt Vera Carnes of Green Valley, AZ, and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and a step-brother, Joe Rowley.\r\nHer body will be cremated with private family services to be held at a later date. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home is serving the Family.\r\nThe family requests memorials be directed to the Eau Claire Humane Society
