Daisy A. Radack, 84, formerly of 901 S. Farwell Street, died Monday, September 10, 2001 Dove Healthcare. She was born on April 21, 1917 to Samuel and Evelyn (Thompson) Farrington in Lanesboro, Minnesota.\r\nDaisy married James Radack in Oaklee, MN on November 5, 1934. They farmed several years in Oaklee, MN. In 1944, they moved to Eau Claire, where she was a full-time mother and homemaker. Later in her life she was employed at Luther Hospital where she worked for seventeen years, retiring in 1982, as supervisor of Central Services.\r\nDaisy was a caring, loving Mom and Grandma. She was an expert at sewing, cooking and canning, and would often have a room full of her children's friends on her baking day. She enjoyed the opportunity to dance with her husband and family. Daisy loved getting together with family and friends, and had the ability to communicate with people regardless of their age.\r\nSurvivors include three sons, James (Coy) Radack of Uvalde, TX , Dean Radack of Superior, WI, and Stanley Radack (Lannys Mueller) of Chippewa Falls, WI; three daughters, Kathleen (Steven Olson) of Altoona, Marcianne (Roger) Harlson of Chippewa Falls, and Pamela Yaeger (Joe Schneider) of Eau Claire; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; brother, Laverne (Audrey) Farrington of Stacy, MN; two sisters, Violet Bendickson of Thief River Falls, MN and Verna Lawler of Eau Claire; two sisters-in-law, Mary (Clarence) Munson of Octavia, IL and Eva Farrington of Great Falls, MT; and her special friend, Dick Behlke of Eau Claire.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her husband, James in 1982; her parents; two sisters, Myrtle Hatleli and Lillian Johnson; two brothers, Richard and Leo Farrington.\r\nShe will be sadly missed by her family.\r\nMemorial services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, September 14, 2001 at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home with Pastor David B. Karolus officiating. Friends and relatives may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and an hour prior to services Friday at the funeral home Burial will be in Prairie View Cemetery.
