DALE E. CLARK, 60, of Holland, MI, formerly of Eau Claire, died Tuesday, May 15, 2001 at Holland Health Care Center in Holland, MI. He was born on March 27, 1941 in Eau Claire to John and Irene (Tellstrom) Clark. He graduated from Eau Claire Senior High School with the class of 1960. \r\nDale entered the U.S. Army in 1961 serving two tours of duty in Vietnam and Germany. Following his honorable discharge in 1973, Dale lived in Colorado Springs, CO until moving to Holland, MI., where he met and married Patty Wieling in 1994. \r\nHe was an over-the-road truck driver for Teddy Transport until retiring this past November due to illness.\r\nSurvivors include his soulmate, Patty Clark of Holland, MI; his mother, Irene Clark of Eau Claire; five children, Tim (Kathy) Clark of Maple Grove, MN, Tammy Clark of Eau Claire, Suzanne Clark of Colorado Springs, CO, Becka and Jennifer Hoffmeyer, both of Holland, MI; eight grandchildren; his sister, Jill (Ed) Mertens of Chippewa Falls; and several nieces and nephews.\r\nHe was preceded in death by his father, John; and two brothers, Ralph and Calvin.\r\nFuneral services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 19, 2001 at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Sullivan officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Gardens Cemetery in the Town of Washington, where V.F.W. Post # 305 will perform military graveside rites. Friends may call one hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home.
