On Sunday, November 7, 2004, Dale A. Johnson, 71, of Eau Claire went to his heavenly home. Dale was born on May 8, 1933, in Rock Falls, Wisconsin, the son of Edwin and Mae (Goss) Johnson. He was baptized September 10, 1933, at Cranberry Creek Lutheran Church where he was later confirmed in the Christian faith. He received his public education from the Durand School System. Dale married Carol Dahl on February 14, 1953, at Rock Creek Lutheran Church. He entered the U.S. Army in April 1953 and was stationed at Fort Bragg, N.C. until his honorable discharge in April 1955. Dale and Carol were later divorced.\r\nHe farmed many years in the townships of Drammen and Albany, and worked 31 years at Armour Meats until his retirement. On January 2, 1999, Dale married Pam Lorentz. They made their home in Eau Claire. \r\nDale enjoyed fishing, cruising the lake on his pontoon, playing cards, watching the Packers, and eating lutefisk. \r\nHe is survived by his wife, Pam; daughter, Debi (Butch) Hurlburt, of Durand and their daughter, Tiffany Biederman of Mondovi; son, Jim (Terri) Johnson and their children, Erin and Kyle Johnson all of Hudson; his mother, Mae Johnson of Eau Claire; brother, Roger (Judy) Johnson of Onalaska; two sisters-in-law, Barbara (Steve) Field and Dee (Jeff) Doane; two brothers-in-law, Jeff (Karlene) Lorentz and Chuck (Jan) Lorentz all of Eau Claire; as well as many nieces, nephews, friends, and relatives.\r\nDale was preceded in death by his father, Edwin; brother, Harold; and grandparents, Julius and Karen Johnson, and Harry and Flossie Goss.\r\nWe will love you and miss you forever.\r\nFuneral services will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, November 9, 2004, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home with Pastor Charles Plaster officiating. Family and friends may call from 4 p.m. until time of services Tuesday at the funeral home.
