Daniel J. Bever Jr., 26, formerly of Eau Claire, died Wednesday, July 24, 2002 at his home in Barron. He was born on November 18, 1975 in La Crosse, Wisconsin the son of Daniel and Debra (McClanahan) Bever. He grew up in rural Taylor and attended school in Blair. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves for six years.\r\nDan married Jessica L. Snyder in Eau Claire on May 21, 1999. They lived in Eau Claire until moving to Barron in June.\r\nSurvivors include his wife, Jessica; son, Zachary and daughter, Meghan both at home; his parents, Dan and Sherry Bever of Eau Claire; two step-brothers, Wayne Marten and Paul (Rebecca) Marten both of Eau Claire; step-sister, Denise Dietsche of Altoona; grandfather, Edward Bever of Black River Falls; his mother-in-law, Wendy Pope of New Auburn; aunts, uncles and many cousins.\r\nMemorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 27, 2002 at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, 814 First Ave., Eau Claire with Pastor Paul D.L. Oppedahl officiating. Friends may call an hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home.
