Darlene Mae Bauer, 71, of Eau Claire, died Thursday, June 4, 2009, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire. \r\nShe was born in Eau Claire on August 24, 1937, a daughter of Elsworth and Lucille (Kemp) Cramblit. She was baptized at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Eau Claire.\r\nShe graduated from Eau Claire Senior High School with the class of 1956.\r\nDarlene married Larry H. Bauer on June 11, 1960, at Sacred Heart Church in Eau Claire.\r\nShe had many interests and hobbies including waterskiing, embroidering, and other crafts. She loved being with her husband and family, and together they camped, fished, and traveled every year. In their younger years they would take along their brother and sister, Dale and Janice.\r\nDarlene is survived by her two children, Scott (Becky) Bauer and Lisa Kloss both of Eau Claire; three grandchildren, Alexis Bauer of Eau Claire, Dan Bauer Marshall, MN and Jake Bauer, of Eau Claire; her sister, Donna Kleuckman of Mpls, MN; brother, Dale (Patsy) Cramblit of Tomah; uncle and aunt, LeRoy "Skip" (Mary) Kemp of LaCrosse; two sisters-in-law, Lana (Denny) Schelich of Washington, MO, and Janice Bruehl of Wrightstown; brother-in-law, Jack (Peg) Bauer of Eau Claire; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her husband, Larry; her parents; and her mother and father-in-law, Hubert and Myrtle Bauer.\r\nFuneral services will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9, 2009, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home with Monsignor Edmund Klimek officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Eau Claire. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Lenmark Gomsrud Linn Funeral Home, 814 First Ave., Eau Claire, and one hour prior to services on Tuesday.\r\n \r\n
