Darren A. Griffin, 38, of Eau Claire died Saturday, January 21, 2006, in Eau Claire. He was born in Japan on February 1, 1967, the son of Al and Judith (Johnson) Griffin. He grew up in Nevada and moved to Eau Claire in 1986. He had worked as a machine operator.\r\nDarren married Angela K. Geissler at First Lutheran Church in Eau Claire on June 24, 2005.\r\nDarren is survived by his wife, Angela; daughters, Kalysta Griffin and Jessica Sharlow both at home; brother, Keith Griffin of Lakeland, FL ; sister, Lisa (Bill Sherrill) Griffin-Keding of Golfport, MS; grandfather, Fred (Audrey) Piehl of Eau Claire; uncle, James Piehl of Lakeland, FL, father-in-law, Wayne Geissler and brother-in-law, Rick (Jillyn) Geissler both of Eau Claire; nieces, nephews and friends.\r\nHe was preceded in death by his parents; grandmother, Mae; and mother-in-law, Donna L. Geissler\r\nMemorial graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, January 26, 2006, at Lakeview Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. Duane C. Pederson officiating. Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral and Cremation Services is serving the family. \r\n
