David A. Dwyer Sr., 61, of Chippewa Falls, died on Monday, March 16, 2009, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire. \r\nDavid was born on January 26, 1948, in Sheboygan, WI to George&Ruth Dwyer. \r\nHe served in the U.S. Navy from 1969 to 1971. \r\nHe married Cindy S. Meyer on June 22, 1977, in Eau Claire, WI.\r\nDavid owned&operated Dave's Auto Body, where he specialized in collector cars.\r\nHe enjoyed fishing, hunting, raising&flying homing pigeons.\r\nDavid is survived by his wife, Cindy; four children, Jolenne (Bill) Girard, Shawn (Christina Pirik), Dave Jr., & Troy (Katrina Meighen); five grandchildren, Jordan, Blayne, Cameron, Bella & George; his mother, Ruth Dwyer; sister, Mary Jane (George) Oaks; special niece, Kendra; and other loving relatives & friends. He was preceded in death by his father, George.\r\nA memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2009, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home in Eau Claire with Chaplain David Lato officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Eau Claire. Military Honors will be conducted by American Legion Post 53.
