David R. Maloney, 65 of 3909 Paula Court, died Sunday, September 15, 1996 at Luther Hospital. He was born August 9, 1931 in Cedar Rapids,Iowa to Innes and Hildred (Rundall) Maloney. He served as a navigator in the US Air Force in Korea during the Korean Conflict, and was honorably discharged in February of 1956. David married Mary F. Saltness on May 8, 1958 in Stillwater,MN, they resided in LaCrosse until moving to Eau Claire in 1972.\r\nThe past ten years he was national sales manager for Agri-nomic Supply Company. He was a member of Elks B P O Lodge No 402. David loved boating, fishing and golfing, was an avid reader and a would daily enjoy completing his newspaper crossword puzzles. \r\nSurvivors include his wife, Mary; two sons, Mark (DiAnn) of Hudson and Jay (Cheryl) of Eau Claire; a daughter, Trisha (William) Pedersen of Eau Claire; six grandchildren, Nicole, Mitchell, Jennifer and Joshua Maloney, and Emma and Nicholas Pedersen all of Eau Claire; his mother, Hildred Maloney of Cedar Rapids,IA; a sister Patricia (Lloyd) Luce of Tucson, AZ; several nieces and nephews.\r\nDavid was preceded in death by his father, Innes.\r\nFuneral Services will be at 1:30 P.M. Wednesday at First Lutheran Church with The Rev. Dr. Duane C. Pederson officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery with VFW Post # 305 conducting military graveside rites. Friends may call 4 to 8 P.M. Tuesday (Today) at Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Wednesday at the church.
