David C. Persiko, age 69 of Eau Claire, died at his home on Tuesday, April 21, 2015. He was born to Charles and Helen (Stanwick) Persiko on July 27, 1945, in Eau Claire WI. He graduated from Eau Claire Memorial High School with the class of 1964. Dave attended the University of Eau Claire and later joined the U.S. Army. After his Honorable Discharge, he worked various jobs throughout the Eau Claire area. Dave had a great passion for playing pool, darts and ping-pong. He loved hunting, fishing and being outdoors. Dave was an avid reader and a dedicated fan of the Packers and Brewers. He was a loving and caring brother and uncle that will be missed by many. Dave is survived by his siblings, Janet (Todd) Edwards of Janesville WI, Judy Gunderson of New Richmond WI, Richard (Gail) Persiko of Big Lake MN, and Sue (Gordy) Gullikson of Chippewa Falls WI; 12 nieces and nephews; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews; along with other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. A Memorial Service will be at 11AM on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at Lenmark Gomsrud Linn Funeral Home, 814 First Avenue, with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Pastor Scott Miller will be officiating. Interment will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, town of Washington, with Military Honors conducted by the Eau Claire American Legion Post #53.
