Delores Marie Johnson, 68, of Bloomer, passed away peacefully on Aug. 26, 2008, at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born Oct. 26, 1939, in Chippewa Falls, the daughter of Clyde and Florence (Geissler) Bailey. She married Richard Johnson on May 2, 1964. Delores was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed quilting, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of St Johns Lutheran Church in Bloomer.\r\nSurvivors include her husband, Richard Johnson of Bloomer; mother Florence Bailey of Altoona; mother in-law Ruth Johnson of Chippewa Falls; children Dawn (Dave) Mahlum of Juneau, Jeff (Tammy) Christenson of Juneau, Marty (Lisa) Johnson of Horicon, and Jennifer Johnson of Bloomer; sisters, Patricia Bailey of Osseo, Linda (Harold) Frank of Eau Claire; sister in-laws, Ann Bailey of Kenosha, Pat (Gary) Gunderson of Eau Claire, Sally (Robert) Pitts of Chippewa Falls, Judy (Calvin) Campbell of Chippewa Falls, Nancy (Richard) Sparks of Eau Claire; brother in-law Kenneth Johnson of Eau Claire; Eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins..\r\nDelores was preceded in death by her father Clyde Bailey; and brother Kenneth Bailey. \r\nThe family would like to thank Kris and the staff at Northwest Wisconsin Homecare, and the many family and friends who offered support and helped in so many ways. \r\nMemorial services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, September 6, 2008, at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Bloomer, WI. Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral and Cremation Services of Eau Claire assisted her family.\r\n
