elores F. Weissinger, 81, of Eau Claire, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, November 23, 2010, of cancer.\r\nShe was born November 3, 1929, in the Township of Lima in Pepin County, the daughter of Frank and Hannah (Bauer) Boigenzahn.\r\nDelores attended the first four years of school at Lima and then transferred to Mondovi and graduated from Mondovi High School with the Class of 1947.\r\nDelores married and then later divorced.\r\nIn 1966, Delores moved to Eau Claire and was a member of St. Olaf Catholic Church.\r\nDelores worked at Martin Motors and Presto as a secretary, in the purchasing department, for 41 years, retiring in 1995. After retiring, she enjoyed her hobbies of embroidery, crossword puzzles and reading, with the occasional trip to the casino. Delores also enjoyed her time with her family and friends, especially getting together to play cards and meeting the "Presto" girls for lunch.\r\nDelores is survived by her two daughters, Cynthia (Harold) Kempen and Judith (Robert) McKean both of Eau Claire; three grandsons, Gregory Kempen and special friend, Dana, and her son, Colin, Michael (Briana) Froseth, Jr., and Brian Kempen and special friend, Beth McGlothlin; five great-grandchildren, Matthew Kempen, Paige Kempen, Alaina Kempen, Bryant Froseth, and Rebecca Froseth; a brother, Francis (Shirley) Boigenzahn of Mondovi; a sister, Janis (Johnnie) Lund of Augusta; many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son, Steven Joseph in 1952; and grandparents.\r\nMass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, November 30, 2010, at St. Olaf Catholic Church, 3220 Monroe St. in Eau Claire with Father Brian Konopa officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Mondovi, WI, at a later date. Visitation will be on Monday, November 29, from 4 to 7 pm at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home, with a Prayer Service at 6:30 pm, and one hour prior to services Tuesday at the church.
