Dennis Alan Mahder, age 61, of Chippewa Falls, died on Wednesday, August 13, 2014. He was born on June 21, 1953, to Robert and LaDonna (Knudtson) Mahder, in Eau Claire, WI. Dennis was a kind, loving and gentle soul, who didn't require much to be happy. He was a great musician and played in a band for many years. He was a simple person who was generous with what he had. Dennis is survived by his mother, LaDonna Mahder; son, Jay (Stephanie) Mahder; granddaughter, Kaitlyn; siblings, Duane (Ruthann) Mahder, Cheryl (Marcus) Sedlickas, David (Geralyn) Mahder, Ron (Sandy) Mahder, and Patti Knapp; aunt, Margie (Tom) Knickerbocker; very special friends, Dave Pizzella and Dennis McDonnell; 11 nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Mahder; grandparents, Lawrence & Edna Knudtson and Sam & Marie Mahder; aunts and uncles, Raymond (Johanna) Knudtson, Shirley (Harvey) Julson, and Harold & Janice Knudtson. The Funeral Service will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 18, 2014, at Pinehurst Lutheran Church, 3304 Fern Ct. Eau Claire WI, 54703, with a visitation one hour prior to the service at church. Pastor Paul Sullivan will be officiating. Interment will be in Prairie View Cemetery, Village of Lake Hallie, WI.
