Deryl Elizabeth Wooster, 89, St. Joseph, Missouri and formerly of Alpharetta, Georgia and Eau Claire, died suddenly Sunday, April 30, 1995 at a St. Joseph hospital.\r\nDeryl born April 12, 1906 to Robert Deryl and Elizabeth Tatum Manning in Macon ,Georgia. She was a graduate of LaGrange College, LaGrange,Georgia, and attended the Chicago Conservatory of Music. She taught elementary school in Georgia and was a music teacher in Eau Claire. She was a member of Lake Street United Methodist Church ,the LaGrange Alumni Association, Eau Claire Elks Club, and several other Eau Claire civic organizations. \r\nDeryl married Ralph Curtis Wooster on June 12, 1944 in Columbia, South Carolina where they resided until making their home in Eau Claire following Ralph's military tour of duty. He died in 1966 after which she returned to Alpharetta, Georgia to reside with her mother Elizabeth Tatum Manning. In 1982 she moved to St. Joseph, Missouri to be near her daughter.\r\nShe is survived by her daughter, MaryJo Schauer of St. Joseph, MO.: a granddaughter, Stephanie Schauer of Dallas,TX. \r\nDeryl was preceded in death by her husband: a brother, Robley Manning.\r\nGraveside committal services will be at 2 P.M. Friday at Lake View Cemetery with Rev. Elmer Pannier of Chapel Heights United Methodist Church officiating.Lenmark-Gomsrud Funeral Home is serving the Family.
