Obituary

Diane E. Polinske, 58, of Eau Claire died Wednesday, December 31, 2003 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Chippewa Falls. She was born April 21, 1945 in Chippewa Falls, the daughter of Herbert and Gladys (Higbee) Polinske.\r\nDiane lived in the Eau Claire area her entire life. Many of those years were spent living with her close friends. She was employed at Reach Inc. until she retired in 2001. Diane was a member of the LSS choir and enjoyed singing very much. Diane was best known for her sense of humor and ability to make others laugh. She was also very kind hearted and cared a great deal about her friends, family and those who were a part of her life. Diane loved cards, magazines and just being around people. She will be missed by many, as she has touched so many lives. Survivors include five brothers, Allan Polinske of Augusta, David Polinske of Chippewa Falls, William, Phillip, and Kenny Polinske all of Stanley; two sisters, Joyce Pilgrim of Boyd and Marilyn Mansur of Fall Creek.\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother Robert Polinske.\r\nFuneral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 6, 2003 at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home with Pastor Paul D.L. Oppedahl officiating. Burial will be in Ludington Cemetery in the town of Ludington. Friends and family may call one hour prior to services Tuesday at the funeral home.
