Dirk Bradford Snyder, 70, of Arroyo Grande, CA, passed away Saturday, November 9, 2024 at French Hospital in San Luis Obispo, CA after health complications stemming from cancer.
He was born in Eau Claire, WI to Leo and Leola "Lee" Snyder on December 8, 1953. Dirk was the founder and co-owner of SignArt Co., which he and his wife Nancy started in 1975. Dirk was a very talented and a very artistic person. He was a great artist and became an avid art collector. Dirk loved the outdoors and always told his children that the beauty on earth was heaven. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed offshore ocean fishing and fly-in fishing with friends and family in Canada. His tartar sauce will live on forever. Dirk had a lake home for many years in Chetek, WI and spent as much time as he could there, with family, friends, and the friends he met in Chetek. He also enjoyed a variety of music, especially Bob Dylan, cooking and spending time with his kids, granddaughter, and his dog Kathy. Dirk spent over 30 years volunteering for the Flying Eagles Ski Club at Silvermine Hill. He had the best sense of humor and never forgot a joke, and certainly knew how to tell one. Dirk is now with his wife, Nancy who passed away in 2009.
