Doloris J. Tietz, 90, of Eau Claire, died Sunday, August 1, 2010, at Syverson Lutheran Home in Eau Claire.\r\nShe was born in Eau Claire on July 9, 1920, a daughter of Eugene and Ida (Peterson) McCombs. \r\nShe married Alfred A. Tietz on April 27, 1941, in Eau Claire. \r\nDoloris is survived by her son, Roger (Lynn) of Sun Prairie, WI; four grandchildren, James (Sharon) Tietz of Oak Park, IL, Cheri (Brian) Fochs of Wausau, Michael (Jennifer) Tietz of Greenville, WI, and Kevin Tietz of Sun Prairie; seven great-grandchildren; and a nephew, Richard (Shirley) Seipel of Loveland, OH. \r\nShe was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred in 1983; her parents; and a sister Lorraine Seipel.\r\nFuneral services will be held at 1 pm on Friday, August 6, 2010, at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home in Eau Claire with Pastor James Page officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery in Eau Claire. Visitation will be from 12 noon until the start of the service Friday at the funeral home.
