Donald T. Everson, 82, of Eau Claire, died Saturday, December 16, 2006, at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire. \r\nHe was born on January 30, 1924 in Osseo, WI, the son of Theodore and Hilda (Hanson) Everson. Donald married Delores Inerson in Fargo, North Dakota. Donald married Helen M. Hanson in 1983 in Eau Claire. She died on May 23, 2006.\r\nOn November 29, 1944, Don entered the United States Army in Milwaukee and served as a Private until the time of his honorable discharge on November 24, 1946 from Fort Sheridan, IL.\r\nDon worked for many years for Uniroyal as a tire builder and also at various local sanitation companies in the Eau Claire area.\r\nOne of Don's favorite hobbies was operating his HAM radio for years. He was also and avid hunter and fisherman. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching pro-wrestling on television and working on cars. He will always be remembered by his family and friends as a hard worker who always went the extra mile and also as a great comedian.\r\nDonald is survived by his son, Donald C. Everson of Windsor, WI; a daughter, Donna Everson of Miami, FL; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; four sisters, Bernice (Glenn) Haugenand of Osseo, Loretta Lien of Osseo, Luetta Heath of Osseo, and Alice Marie Butler of Rockford, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews.\r\nDonald was preceded in death by his first and second wives, Delores and Helen; his parents; a sister, Gladys Faldet.\r\nFuneral services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, December 20, 2006 at Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home with Pastor David J. Irgens officiating. Burial with Military Rites conducted by American Legion Post #53 will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Eau Claire. Friends may call one hour prior to the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
